As a virtual assistant, I can do virtually anything for you. The only things I cannot do are tasks which need your personal touch, or items that need to be physically accomplished from or at your business location.
Every VA/client relationship is different. A good way to begin any working relationship, is to share what I expect from my clients, and to learn what my clients expect from me.

Honest Clear-cut Advice
It is important for you to be comfortable with me. I will always be proactive and tell you exactly what I am sure of. If I am not sure, I will say so. I will make suggestions on how to handle a challenge or how to get the most from an opportunity. I will honestly tell you what I think, although you have the final decision about your work.
Integrity
Honesty and integrity are the two virtues I hold above all others. I expect my clients to be honest with me and with others. I will not participate in anything illegal or unethical. If I am not comfortable with something you have asked of me, I will tell you immediately.
Utilize My Services as a Resource
As your VA, I have a great deal of experience and expertise to offer. I understand you decided to work with a VA because you cannot "carry the load" all yourself. There will be times when I am not immediately available. Please consider me to be the resource and sounding board that I am, but do not get in the position of needing me in an overly dependent way.
I Don't Know Everything
I am a willing and quick learner, and also have many resources at my disposal. I will ask you questions and sometimes a lot of questions. You are one of my resources as I am a resource for you.
Accountability
I take responsibility for the work I do or oversee. However, it doesn't mean I will automatically accept blame if things go wrong. Mistakes happen, but giving the benefit of the doubt is a two way street.

I am fortunate to have the opportunity to choose the clients with whom I want to work. It is important for me to enjoy my work, which includes supporting my clients. Clear & Genuine Communications
For us to build and maintain a successful working relationship, across a distance, it is important that we communicate well. Staying in contact on a regular basis will build our relationship much quicker. I will be in contact frequently and you will receive a status report weekly. You can send me an email, give me a call whenever you need something, or just to check in.
